This website is the result of the seed planted during the 2016 election by a line tossed off by Bernie Sanders at a CNN "town hall".
As part of the "moderator's" denigration of Sanders' candidacy, he belligerently asked, "Well, let's say you get elected. How could you possibly get any of your agenda passed in Congress?"
Bernie answered that as President he would go anywhere, speak anywhere at anyone's rallies or events to help organize massive Popular Support and Pressure to be applied to Congress persons to pressure them to pass his extremely Popular list of solutions for our real problems.
That list included Living Wage, Medicare for All, Tax the Rich (again), effectively slow down AGW and prepare for less friendly climate to come. And he even might have been persuaded to end the Forever Wars and slash the war budgets to only that amount needed for ACTUAL DEFENSE
Alas, he never mentioned organizing the People again but I realized long ago after serving in a leadership position in a political party and watching the sausage being made from inside the factory, that the rigged, UniParty (dem/repub) (s)electoral game driven by Big Money and the corporate media's horse-race mentality that ignores the real issue and solutions to them would NEVER result in the existentially important, substantial, systemic changes we desperately need.
